Mikuni Minato has a history of more than 1,000 years as a center of trade on the Sea of Japan. During the Edo period (1603-1867), it flourished as a port of call for Kitamae-bune, and many merchants and sailors came and went. Remnants of this history and culture can still be seen in the townscape and festivals. In this tour, you will visit Mikuni Minato from various angles, which is colored by the history and culture of the Kitamae-bune. Please come to Mikuni Minato for a trip to the Kitamae Ship culture.
